So Dan and I made it official last night! :)
I've been dating this guy, Dan, for the past month now who I met on OKCupid. We had been talking online and texting for a few weeks prior to that. I decided this time to not really tell many people right away about him so I wouldn't get myself all hyped up from the start in case this turned out badly again. Definitely took the slower, less clingy approach this time and so far things are working great!

Friday
Tsumi came over around 2:00. We hung out for a little bit and went to see the new "Dragonball Evolution" movie in King of Prussia. The movie was surprisingly not too bad. We both really enjoyed it and Tsumi says there are plans for making a few movie titles with the next one focusing on Dragonball Z. From there we went to Outback for dinner. We both had yummy steak! Mine was glazed with a terriyaki sauce which was quite good. After dinner we came back to the apartment and played around on the computer for awhile and talked. Then we headed out to The Colonial Theater in Phoenixville to see a showing of "Repo! The Genetic Opera". OMG it was soooo amazing! I had seen it several times at home but the chance to finally see it on the big screen was great! This is definitely the "Rocky Horror" for a new generation. The goths were in full gear. The movie was full of people yelling callbacks a la "Rocky Horror", clapping at the opening title and when The Graverobber first appears onscreen. There was also a group dressed as some characters from the film who performed a few scenes while the movie played, also a la "Rocky Horror". The guy who organizes The Colonial Theater's First Friday horror event(a different horror movie shown, usually, the first Friday of each month) announced some facts about the film before the presentation. The most interesting is that "Repo! The Genetic Opera" is the middle part of a planned trilogy and they might be working on the first part next. After that we hung out at my place and talked awhile and then he left for home about 1am.
Saturday
So...earlier last week I was browsing slickdeals.net and came across the mention of the Mac mini being offered at Microcenter for $400 after rebate and $428 after shipping. o_O Holy crap yes! I immediately clicked on the link to Microcenter's website and found that it was actually only being sold in-store. No problem since we have one just 20 minutes away. I click on the add to cart button for in-store pickup and it's sold out! NOOOOO!!! I knew it was too good to be true! The rebate offer was only good until April 12. So...Saturday morning when I wake up I decide I'm gonna check Microcenter's site just to see if by some freak chance they got a few in-stock. Low and behold there are 56 left! I freak out! I immediately add to cart, 10 minutes later I get a confirmation email and I go to pick it up! Major score!! I've been looking into getting a new computer and have been wanting to go back to Mac. I loved my iBook but it is sooooo old now and the screen had died on it a few months ago.
Later in the day I met up with my friend Alan who was home from NYC visiting for Easter. We cruised some stores and got food at the KoP mall food court. Then later at night I went to my friend Corrine's house and we watched "Yes Man". I had already seen it but we both love Jim Carrey and she wanted to see it. I love the movie. I think it's one of his better comedies in awhile.
Sunday
Went to my parent's house for Easter dinner. Had ham. :) Brought home some leftovers, though I do have an 8lb ham of my own that I might make on Tuesday. Tsumi suggested cooking it in Dr Pepper as opposed to Coca~Cola like I did last time.

So sad to see Nikki go.
Last night was her final night working in my district of cafes. A girl at the location in Conshohocken(Whitemarsh) quit so we moved her to that district. It's better for her since it's much much closer to where she lives and the management there is better than where she was. I'm happy she will be at a better location, but she will be missed! So as one last hangout Nikki, Mike and I went to the super awesome totally yummy Chinese Buffet in Abington one final time! Wheeee :)

Last night I made my third visit to the weekly furmeet in New Brunswick, NJ. I had an awesome time!! I met Tsumi at his house around 6pm and we drove up. The meet always starts off at Panera and then is decided from there where to go to eat, etc. We went to a diner called Omega. I had lemon chicken which was pretty good, and awesome sweet potato fries. The meal also came with a potato, a cup of soup and a salad. I guess we all parted ways from the meet arund 12:00/12:30 and it was an hour drive back to Tsumi's in Vorhees. He and I talked and hung out for awhile. Left his place about 3:40am.

I need to get away.
Between trainer/trainee issues(as if that wasn't enough stress) at work and now friends suddenly turning on me, the stress is only growing. I need to get away and relax and I can't do that here where I'm constantly reminded of those things.

Hurray for sneaky movie theater antics. ;)
Friday I went to see "Taken" which I thought was an awesome movie. I really enjoyed it from beginning to end and was never bored. After that, "The Last House on the Left" was playing in like 5 minutes so I caught that as well. It was....just ok. A little entertaining, but it didn't cost me anything so...lol. I would still like to see the original which I've heard good things about. I believe it was also Wes Craven's first movie.

Yesterday was a sorta semi-date/hangout with Tsumi. We have an official date in April. Hung out at my place for a little while we waited for
dinkeekittee so be ready. Met her at the mall and walked around. Ate at Tokyo Bay in the upstairs foodcourt and gelato afterwards. Then walked around a bit more. I ended up getting Suikoden Tierkreis for Nintendo DS. Dinkee parted and Tsumi and I went back to my place to hang out some more and he ended up leaving a little before I had to get ready for work. It was an awesome day and really excited to see him again! :)
Why do I feel so nervous about a semi-date/hangout this afternoon with someone I've known for nearly three years?

Yesterday I made a trip up to New York City. It was tons of fun! This was only my second time visiting the city. Last visit was almost 2 years ago. I went to visit my friend Alan who I use to work with at my old job. He moved up there a few years ago. I ended up driving from PA to Hamilton, NJ to catch the train. I think this was a smart move. Last time I took a train from home to Philly to Trenton to NYC. Ugh! So many trains. It sucked. This time was much better and I didn't have to leave NYC early out of fear for missing the last train from Philly to home.
Start off by meeting Alan at Penn Station. From there we went to see his friend, Sok, at his Origami meeting/class(he is the organizer/teacher). OMG Origami Meetup Group It was fun and exciting! I kinda feel motivated to learn more now. We made some flowers and baskets out of paper. We were there for about 2 hours when the class ended at 4pm. From there we just walked around, went to an awesome Japanese toy store called Toy Tokyo. They had some awesome Japanese Transformers but I think I could get most of them cheaper on ebay so I didn't buy any. After that we met up with Sok and went to a great place for noodles called Rai Rai. It was crazy small and crowded but so good! Next destination was China town for more toys! I ended up buying two Sailor Moon dolls from the Live Action series. It was the only Sailor Moon anything that I saw in the shops we were in. There were a lot of stores we didn't go into, so who knows what they may have had. There was an awesome ice cream place, Chinatown Ice Cream Factory that we went to that had a flavor called Zen Butter. It was a vanilla icecream with a peanut butter flavor and sesame seeds. So good! All the ice cream is made there in the store. We then headed to Korea Town for some tea. This place was great! I had Ginger Tea and it was soooo good. I was told by Sok that all the places in Korea Town are 24 hours. All the restaurants...everything. After tea Alan and I parted ways from Sok and we headed to Toys 'R' Us in Times Square. Nothing too much new here as I've been to it on my last visit. I was in hopes of finding the new Transformers Universe Legends toys which they did not have. Then it was time to go. Ugh...what a day! I was exhausted but had so much fun! I'm looking forward to going back again hopefully sometime soon. There's some stuff in Chinatown I wish I had gotten and would like to explore more.
